Hope the summer has treated you well and that it was a blast!
School has begun here and the tennis teams are starting their workouts on Monday. Exciting time as every fall seems to be especially with the new faces we have in both programs.
Jenny and I discussed having an Alabama Play Day…one this Fall and one in the Spring. We spoke about doing this in the past and now we’ve got some dates to put on the calendar.
Fri, Sept 29 5:30-7:00pm
Fri, Jan 5 5:30-7:00pm (indoor)
We’ve spoken to Keith, Gary and Tommy to let them know about the event and will also reach out to Tuscaloosa Racket Club. The event will be open to all fans and allow them to hit/play fun games with players and coaches throughout the facility. I am confirming the NCAA rule regarding High School players hitting with us and will get that info out to everyone.
We’re also figuring out a food item (like cookout with burgers/hot dogs, pizza, etc).
