The Alabama women’s tennis team encourages local children to sign up for the Alabama Aces program for the 2019 tennis season. The program will launch during the season opened doubleheader against UAB and Belmont on Sunday, Jan. 20 at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. Alabama Aces is the Youth Experience Team of Alabama women’s tennis. Children ages 6-12 can sign up for free to be a part of an Alabama women’s tennis home match. As an Alabama Ace, children can take the court with an Alabama tennis player, join the team during the national anthem and serve as a ball runner during a match. The participants will also receive an Alabama Aces T-shirt to take home. Those interested in attending can gin up by emailing head coach Jenny Mainz with your match preference at jmainz@ia.ua.edu.
