Here’s your next Summer Update from our Alabama Women’s Tennis Team. Hear from Jacqueline Pelletier – Junior from Hilton Head Island, SC.
Hi y’all, hope you’re having a great summer! I attended the first summer school session in t-town with teammates Luca, Alba, Kylie, and our new teammate Moka. It was very good to get a few more classes done, train, and spend time with my teammates playing tournaments. We played two tournaments battling in the summer heat improving and getting ready for the upcoming season. After school, I came back home to South Carolina and have enjoyed being with my family (Dad: Steve, Mom: Traci, and 2 younger brothers: Beau and Pierce). We have been enjoying the outdoors; we kayaked out of the harbor from our lock which is one of only 3 on the entire East Coast into an estuary which separates Hilton Head Island in half and had an absolute blast biking in our community parade for the 4th of July. I have also been training at the Van der Meer Tennis academy with my brother Beau who is transferring to the Gamecocks, after having to medical redshirt his freshman year and have plans to play three more tournaments.
