Tuscaloosa Tennis Association has won the Southern Member Organization of the Year for 2017. This award was instituted in 1981 to recognize annually the support of the USTA mission by its Organization Members. The award is given to the organization that best exemplifies service to the community, service to its members through junior and adult programs and service to the game of tennis. This represents a standard that all Organization Members can strive to achieve.
TTA also has won the 2017 Community Tennis Association of the Year award from USTA Alabama. Established in 2002, the CTA of the Year Award honors the organization that successfully promotes and grows the game of tennis in their community by demonstrating excellence through a variety of criteria.
