Men vs. Ole Miss:
         
 The Alabama men’s tennis team lost a 4-3 heartbreaker to Ole Miss on Friday night to begin SEC play. The Tide served for a pair of matches in doubles and the important opening point but fell in two tiebreakers. Alabama captured impressive victories at #1, #2 and #3 singles. Sophomore Mazen Osama beat #17 Gustav Hansson, freshman Thibault Cancel defeated #111 Tim Sandkaulen and freshman Edson Ortiz rounded out the Top-3 wins and beat Ricardo Jorge.

Men vs. Arkansas:
The Crimson Tide fell in another close contest at home on Sunday to Arkansas.  Doubles came down to the wire again with the Razorbacks clipping Alabama’s top team of Mazen Osama/Spencer Richey 7-5 for the doubles point. Freshmen Zhe Zhou and Edson Ortiz claimed victories over their Razorback opponents in the singles portion.

Women vs. Ole Miss:
The Alabama women’s tennis team lost a 4-3 thriller to No. 17 ranked Ole Miss on Friday afternoon at Ole Miss to officially begin Southeastern Conference play. Senior Erin Routliffe and freshman Maddie Pothoff teamed up to register the first doubles win of the contest. Routliffe, beating #34 ranked Hartono, Pothoff, beating #115 ranked Bortles and Daniel all captured the Tide’s victories at #1, #2 and #4 singles positions.
Women vs. Miss. State:
   
    The No. 34-ranked Alabama women’s tennis team lost another 4-3 thriller to No. 33-ranked Mississippi State on Sunday afternoon. After losing the doubles point, Alabama went on to tie the match score at 1-1 to begin singles play, as sophomore Andie Daniel won in straight sets and improved to a 9-0 record in singles play. Danielle Spielmann and Maddie Pothoff also claimed victories at #2 and #3 singles. Routliffe and Pothoff have a 7-1 record as the Tide’s #1 doubles team.
