High Performance Junior Tennis Opportunity

We are pleased to share some exciting news for NJTL chapters with High Performance tennis players. The TEAM USA NJTL Playoff in June provides an opportunity for NJTL participants to compete for potential wildcards into national tournaments. Nominations are now being accepted from all NJTL chapters, and are due May 1, 2018. Only  24 players from across the 17 USTA Sections will be selected for this playoff opportunity.

This is a joint effort between USTA Player Development and the USTA Foundation.  This event is focused on players who are playing in the 14 and under, and 12 and under divisions and will not qualify for the USTA National Clay Courts or National Championships through your USTA Section. Additionally, the players you nominate for this special wildcard opportunity must be  training in your NJTL chapter; are under-resourced and require either free or scholarship-based access to your tennis programming; and you believe are ready to compete at a national level.
